OneDa | 'My Way'

Updated: Aug 4

OneDa, Manchester’s emerging hip-hop/ trap artist, is on the roll in 2020 with her second single release with sassy and equally savage ‘My Way’. The single follows 2 releases this year including a remix of last year's smash single Deliveroo (Zed Bias Remix) which has seen over 50,000 streams.

New age production fused with OneDa’s punching, plain-spoken lyrical utterance makes ‘My Way’ especial amongst contemporary female led hip-hop/trap releases.

‘My Way’ is OneDa’s second release for her new project in which she was 1 of 10 artists to be generously supported by the PRS Foundation’s ‘Women Make Music’ fund. Not only was she selected amongst many contenders, but to date OneDa is the first female artist from Manchester to be selected for the fund. The single was premiered by Wordplay Magazine and is available to stream on their YouTube and Instagram channels.

2019 heavily shaped the success of OneDa’s career after she became the first female rapper to headline BBC Introducing at Manchester International Festival 2019 whilst also scoring the headline spot on the main stage at Manchester Pride 2019.
