In the footsteps of their successful collaboration last year, Swedish brand Axel Arigato has linked back up with Cat Footwear to create a newly converted trio of colour Excelsior stapes. Manipulating on bold and striking colours in the design the three-part collection aligns with the popular streetwear trends of London.
The modernised chunky sneaker will be flying off the shelf with the popularised trademark colour palette, using orange white and black tones the Creative Director and Co-Founder Max Svardh comments that the scheme is "commonly used in industrial contexts to make a statement... so we wanted to utilize it throughout the collection as it reminds people that they are wearing a powerful piece".
Celebrating the launch of the trainer Axel Arigato and Cat Footwear came together to throw an energy-packed, music-filled, fashion party on September 12th in the walls of Axel Arigato's storefront on Broadwick Street. The event hosted London creatives, influences and industry people scooped up from all over the city, performances included DJ sets from House of Pharos DJ Jamo Beatz, girl-powered team BossyLDN, JoceWavy and Flohio.
With sales of the shoes commencing as of now, everyone who joined the celebratory movement was keen to cop a pair of fresh collaborated chunky trainers.
